Whilst visiting the South East of Ireland I arranged to play the Midweek Open Competition. Had some great company in a couple of members. The course is a mature parkland course with a number of solid holes. I personally would say nothing majorly stands out as a hole, but there are certainly no gimmes. The par 3s are all a... More

Played a round here on banking holiday. The course was very traditional, but in good shape. Greens were challenging but overall condition was good. After the round had fish and chips in the bar and it was great. I'd play here again.

Course is quite short and has very tricky greens. It's a decent course personally I'd prefer gorwan or mount Juliet in the area but I wouldn't advise anyone not to play here either. Food was good after just something missing for me..

The rain and weather was not conducive at all to playing golf. The clubhouse was fantastic, beautiful, and very expensive. Gorgeous course.

As all golfers know: A Golf Club must have great food to accompany a great golf course. Although I did not get to play the course this time around we did eat in the club house. Members in the party had soups, open prawn sandwich and deep fried Thai prawn. The prices were very reasonable and the food very good.... More

A lovely course in beautiful countryside and so reasonably priced. We were made to feel very welcome at this club and really enjoyed our round. Tip, get a course guide as the tees aren't numbered and we played the 18th as the 15th in error. Not a problem really as we played it again!!

Fantastic place. Weather not very good. Lots of rain but hey this Ireland. Golf course was immaculate and a very hard test of golf. Clubhouse fantastic if a bit expensive.

Our Golf Party of 34 have just returned from Kilkenny after a 3 day golf break. We played at the course on Saturday 25th May during their Open Week. The course was in great condition and as for the greens ....it was like' putting in a bath'! These greens are probably the best greens I have putted on for some... More

Called day before to book too-off. Arrived 45 minutes early, buggy and clubs ready. Off we went. a very pretty course, lots of trees in play, easy to follow route on score card. Would love to play again. again ireland should be very proud of their treatment of visitors - you made us feel very welcome.

I liked our meal there this summer with all the family. It was home-made, unsophisticated good fare with a good Spanish wine from Rioja to accompany our meal. Good atmosphere and friendly service.
