Went to this show with my mum and sisters. I feel i have to give it only three stars due to the disconnect between the title of the show and what was actually on the stage! Apart from two voice over parts -at the start and thenafter the break there was really no indication of story you shouldn't have to... More

Like another reviewer here, I was rather expecting to see the entire story of Grainne Mhaol played out on stage through music and dance ... in fact, only two incidents in her colourful life were performed, each briefly and clearly described beforehand. The auditorium was packed and, while the seating was comfortable and steeply raked so that the stage was... More

The musicianship is undoubtedly excellent. However the show was weak overall. Poor singing from the female singer, weak dancing from all but two of the dancers and virtually no telling of the Grace O'mally story through the singing and dancing means this is a show to miss. The direction was very poor throughout. The show resembled something put together by... More

Thank you for your comment. We respect everyone’s opinion and we are delighted you recognised our talented musicians. The music, song and dance aspects of the show are a representation of Grainne Mhaol’s life. We’re disappointed that you felt that this did not carry through into the show. The show is nearing its seventh season in Westport and has recently... More

We loved the musicians and the dancers; they were wonderful. I was led to believe that the production would tell us the story of Granuaille but it did not. It was at best a collection of very good musicians and dancers. Production and direction not the best. Not nearly as good as 'trad on the prom' showing in Galway.

Wonderful music, dancing, and singing!!! Very lively and engaging!! A must see!! It ran just shy of two hours, but it felt like 30 minutes as it was so entertaining! The producer was very funny and engaged the audience throughout!! Lovely theater!

We were lucky enough to get the last few tickets for last night's performance. The newly renovated theatre was great with balconies overlooking the centre of Westport. The dancers were excellent as were the musicians. A super night's entertainment. Definitely recommend it. Try the pubs locally - good music and wonderful Irish hospitality.
