Amazing views of the island on this trail, well worth doing if going to climb croagh Patrick or in the area of Westport. Beautiful views on the cliffs and plenty of sheep!

A must do, just pack a lunch as shops are few and far between and are not open all year round. Oh and if you are there in the dark remember to look up!

It is well worth taking the longer coastal route from Mulrany to Achill Sound. A pleasant restaurant in Keel was ideal for lunch.

Most tourists arrive in Ireland with the impression that the South West of the country has THE must visit area, and while it is true that it's a fabulous area, I would urge people to visit the North West, including the Atlantic Drive on Achill...More

The beautiful scenery is stunning. It was so bitterly cold and wet when we visit that we didn’t get to explore on foot as much as we wanted to but still enjoyable from the car. Mind the sheep they are everywhere!

The drive takes about an hour and a half. Realistically it will take longer because you are going to stop along the way to see different things and stop at the beaches. It is one of the most beautiful drives in Ireland... More
