The history of Ireland has never been as interesting ! You must go on the guided tour to get the full experience...the guides are fantastic and so knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic couple of hours spent in the oldest megalithic tombs in Europe one of the B/C was opened to the public and its many tombs around with great Veiws this is a must for young and old Historic place

It's a magnificent ancient site. It's a shame that much of it was destroyed through time, but they did a fine job preserving the remaining ruins.

First of all Thomas at the front desk was ver helpful with our phone issues. Much appreciate the help. We bought the family pass for 13 euros and the walk took about 45 min with stops. The stones are on 2 sides of the road....More

We had a great visit to the Cairns and tombs scattered throughout the site. The visitor centre had a small but very useful exhibition. They also lent out guides to the site which were very informative.

what tour guide? Tour guides at Carrowmore are all employees of the Office of Public Works and most of them have a degree in archaeology, history or heritage.
