This place is really not worth visiting - even if it is on your way to somewhere. Obviously it is meaningful to some people, but with so many other things to see and do in Sligo - this is one to miss!

We made a short stop here - about 15 minutes to pray for the sick - people tie ribbons to a prayer tree while reflecting on the beautiful scenery and altars - be careful path up can be a little slippery! Very spiritual experience

This is a hidden gem and well worth the stop take an hour when in the area this is very interesting and peaceful the history behind Tobernalt Holy Well also quite a story. Check this out well worth it admission no charge but donations accepted.

Many have claimed healing from the Mass Rock and from prayer while spending time at the grounds. More information is available on the web site.
