It's lovely and relaxing for a little well but if they want people to see it clearly without even missing it, cut down the dry trees and replace them with signs of where everything is.

We spent a quiet hour here midweek and had it to ourselves. Statues , candles, a small grove with the well at its centre - was probably better before the church 'improved' it. Worth a visit whether or not one is Catholic.

This is a beautiful spot! I think the most beautiful in Sligo. Really magical at night when it's candle lit! Historical as well as mass used to be said here when Catholics had to hide that they went to mass! Tranquil spot

Beautiful old holy well near Sligo town. It's a tranquil, prayerful place, and worth a stop off on a trip to Slish Wood or around Lough Gill.

I am not Catholic, but I still found the Holy Well a good place to reflect. The artesian well pumps out a great deal of water, and is interesting from a scientific standpoint.

A lovely peaceful place where you can pray and reflect among the greenery while listening to the babbling waters, once a year mass is celebrated on the stone alter, a lovely experience on a good day.

Nothing wrong, just very built up compared with some of the beautiful, peaceful holy wells in Ireland.

Many have claimed healing from the Mass Rock and from prayer while spending time at the grounds. More information is available on the web site.
