Rosses Point is located quite close to Sligo town. Rosses Point has a very famous 'links' golf course, which my husband had the pleasure of enjoying a few years ago.. Stopped here for a leg stretch and to take in the views. Very peaceful. The sun was shining down on a very warm day. Recommend the bench by the "waiting on shore statue"

Great for walking and days out with the family. Stunning views and lovely pubs. Have eaten a few times in Austies Bar and the food is excellent.

At low tide you can walk for ages on a wide sandy beach. Nearby you can charter a boat to take you deep-sea angling, reef and shark fishing, golf, hire a yacht, visit Armada ship wrecks, or have a bit to eat outdoors while taking in the stunning view of ancient Ireland.
