Was here with 2 kids(5yr and 2yr)...was quite a trek up and had to carry the 2 yr old but a good path once you take your time. The view at the top was worth it tho!

Glad you had a great time on the walk. We at Sligo Walks are constantly trying to improve our product. Look out for the proposed path extension at The Devil's chimney which we hope to complete before spring. For updates check out sligowalks.ie

Dramatic waterfall, especially in winter, with lots of rainfall, flowing off Ben Bulben mountain range,to create the volume of rushing water.Wear Wellington boots or your feet will be cold and shoes soaked in the water spray!!

This is a great little hike for your kids. Did it with my 3 and 6 yr old and they loved it. Follow the red arrows on the sign posts. The path loops around at the top with steps. Best seen after heavy rain fall...More

We visited on a day when the wind was from the right direction to periodically prevent the water from going over the falls. Instead it went backwards as a thick spray. It was neat to watch.

Lovely drive to this beautiful waterfall and lake. Good parking and the walk to the waterfall was on a proper path with hand rails. There is a cafe on site ,but didn't visit it. Well worth the trip.

Only two kilometres away from the more famous and ultimately more touristy glencar waterfall and yet is my favourite of the two purely for that reason. (Of the few people I met, they all said the same thing) that it was nicer here simply because...More

While the walk was a bit strenuous it was delightful, with the lake behind us as we walked, after the walk we had a coffee at the site.
