A very pretty spot, and just the scenery on the drive to it alone makes it worth a visit. Easy access on well marked path following the stream up to the waterfall. Only a reasonably small waterfall when we were there but a beautiful scene...More

This isn't well signposted from the main road, so follow signs for Glencar Waterfall and it's only down the road. It dries up during warm weather, so is best seen in the winter months when it has been raining a lot. There is a lovely...More

This is down the road from the more-publicized Glencar Falls, and is a much more impressive site. Only enough parking for 4-5 cars. An uphill hike you through a beautiful wooded slope and grazing sheep to see a waterfall that occasionally flows up if the...More

Was here with 2 kids(5yr and 2yr)...was quite a trek up and had to carry the 2 yr old but a good path once you take your time. The view at the top was worth it tho!

Best going on a sunny and windy day if you want to see the water going back up the waterfall. Very impressing

Glad you had a great time on the walk. We at Sligo Walks are constantly trying to improve our product. Look out for the proposed path extension at The Devil's chimney which we hope to complete before spring. For updates check out sligowalks.ie
