An interesting place to get some of the history of Waterford which was originally founded as a Viking City. Part of the "Viking Triangle". I got there too late to talk with the staff, but there were informative signs available.

Short visit required - very interesting to learn about the Viking history of Waterford to date. Still unsure how or why, Ragnal became Reginald though.

It was built like a part of the city fortification. I cannot say it is very interesting but if you in Waterford it makes sense to visit it.

Very interesting spot. There is a film to watch first on the top of the tower and plenty artifacts to look at. 5e entry fee. Not for those who find climbing old steps difficult

Hi, as mentioned it depends on how your claustrophobic tolerance is. The stairwell is narrow and round, each of the floors are wide open, so no problem there.

Hi, you cannot purchase tickets in advance for Reginald's Tower, you can for the Medieval Museum and the Bishop's Palace. The tour of Reginald's Tower takes about 45 minutes.
