This arboretum is huge and beautiful. There is a room in the arboretum that has pictures of John Kennedy along with members of his family as well as famous quotes of his.. He has a special place in the hearts of Americans. He obviously has touched the community of Ireland also. Drive to the west of the arboretum and walk... More

You have to go ... This is one of the most beautiful parks i've seen in a while... The grounds are pristine.. the day we were here the sun was shining showing us the park at it's most beautiful.. The exhibition hall that tells the story of JF Kennedy's visit is very interesting and the display of Jackie's clothes is... More

What a beautiful place to visit, lovely plants, trees and a museum. We did a lovely walk and my husband did the PARK RUN and we decided to go for coffee and scones after. Lovely little coffee shop, homemade fresh yummy scones but dreadful coffee... for this type of venue it should be freshly served coffee not out of machine.... More

We, as a family of 4 plus 2 grandparents (aged 7 - 70yrs!!) Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. We all enjoyed the grounds very much. Plenty of space to let the children let off steam! Worth a visit.

We have been coming to the Arboretum for many years and it is a beautiful and contemplative place - it doesn't get too crowded so you don't have far to walk before you feel like you almost have the place to yourself. There's a picnic area next to its good-sized playground which will keep the younger ones happy while you... More

Great place for families, with a relatively newly constructed playground. Excellent for walks any time of year. Tea rooms and miniature railway open in the summer season. Rides in horse and chariot also available.

We had high ones for this Arboretum but we're underwhelmed by its layout & planting regime. It was very difficult to determine tree species nor understand why what was planted where. I left my husband to wander around after half way as to be frank I'd had enough. The cafe & shop were... very Irish, lacked variety or choice too.
