We visited on a damp and overcast evening so perhaps we didn't get to appreciate the beach at its best. But the charge of €4 to use the car park is real rip-off stuff. I know local authorities have to maintain and clean beaches but...More

What a find this beach is, fairly good roads to get to it, parking is 4E for the day so a short stay would be expensive. Beach was clean what more could u want

This is a beautiful beach, a meandering 15km or so south of Wicklow Town. Lovely dunes remind me of some Cape Cod beaches. You pay for parking.

The beach is expansive and very pretty. The water was choppy, and the skies grey, but it was a nice view. There is virtually no free parking, and the paid parking was 4 Euros. We went later in the day, and there was no food...More

This is a lovely sandy beach with plenty of stones and shells which is ideal for childen. The water however can get a bit choppy at times but there are lifegaurds on duty and its €4 to park!!! Despite this we plan to go back

Brittas Bay is a lovely beach with shingle & sand and plenty of dunes. Even though it was persistently raining we would certainly visit again.

Truly fabulous beach - highly recommend an early morning visit to beat the crowds. Well worth the €4 entry fee for parking to have the benefit of such excellent picnic facilities & toilets which were well stocked with toilet paper. A wonderful place to spend...More

The entrance fee is worth paying for safe, secure parking and toilet facilities. The beach is Blue Flag and obviously well looked after. A long stretch of sand, great for walking and sunbathing. Will definitely return.

The car park is right by the beach and there are duck boards to the beach from the car park. The dunes are a little steep and it's quite sandy so you may need some help if you want to take an extended walk. Have a nice trip.
