There are some interesting places on this site, but the car park is always full and the smaller one, nearer to all the shops and restaurants, has now been closed in favour of occasional functions and televised sporting dates. The range of restaurants both on...More

The walk from the cathedral to the docks is a bit down at heel to say the least and when we arrived we did wonder why we had bothered! The whole place was lifeless with hardly anyone around. We did find the "Upstairs and Downstairs"...More

Gloucester’s finest spot! Great place to go for food and drink, although it’s mainly chain restaurants.

Beautiful and historic corner of Gloucester. Lots of information boards to give an insight into it's past and plenty of small cafes and shops to visit too. If only they could move it closer to the town.................

Not sure what to expect and on a wet & windy day, we were forced indoors into the shopping mall which we found to be full of interesting shops and the market hall especially so. Would definitely come here again.

It wasn’t sunny when we visited but the walk along the docks was lovely. There isn’t much to see but it was a nice place to be.

Whiling a little time between events we found this to be a pleasant place 'to be'. Nice indoor; outlet shops - ideal for bargain lovers. Great outdoor walkways and interesting buildings and other venues; coffee shops, restaurants etc. Will return to explore further in good...More

Close to the city centre, a place to stroll, admire the old warehouse buildings and the boats moored in the docks and take your choice of the many eateries and bars. There is the Canal and Waterways Museum (closed during Winter months) and trips on...More
