Good selection of Real Ales in a proper old Inn, home cooked hearty food with live music, made for a lovely evening. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble! We had a very enjoyable evening thank you.

Good pub, with nice beers and we had some nice lunches of ham, egg and chips; and a baked potato with tuna and melted cheese. Would come back.

Have been working in Gloucester for the last 10 days. Found this pub first night. Good band playing and excellent selection of beer. Went back next day and had a superb Sunday lunch, and also other excellent meals there. Friendly staff and landlady.

I've popped in on three occasions recently and had the chicken platter, the rack of ribs and the rack of ribs - again! You won't leave the premises hungry if you order these! A good range of drinks, nice staff, nice surroundings. I'll be back!

We chose this pub for lunch and enjoyed an excellent meal of scampi & chips. We had to wait a little while for the food but that was obviously due to the fact that the food was being cooked to order and was thus perfect...More
