This is a centrally located cinema opposite the old Assembly Rooms. It is within walking distance of the bus station. Comfortable seating. Also has excellent cafe- table service from friendly staff, and with competitive prices. Recommended.

Seen several films here now. The sound in the John Hurt screen room is amazing!! I’ve never been to a film showing that’s packed full of noisy people. The Quad chooses some interesting films to show. I think they do screenings for people with Dementia....More

I don't think we were in the UK long enough to take advantage of all the items the Quad offered. It seemed to be a bit all over the place.

Loved this place. Punching well above its weight for the size of the establishment and a good assortment of exhibitions on.

Hello - Cinema 1 aka The Sir John Hurt Cinema is our largest screen, this cinema holds 237 people. Cinema 2 holds 160 and The Box is slightly smaller, with seats for 60 people. Hope that helps!
