Visiting Derby for the weekend. The Cathedral was very interesting and with the assistance of helpful staff and the information board, we learned quite a bit about the local history of the City.

Open daily. Very nice welcoming couple, who handed out a board with historical details to improve your visit. Lots of history tied up with the place and it's right at the edge of the main shopping area.

A peaceful wander around the cathedral this morning including in the retrochoir. Then turned my attention to spotting the clues to the geocache.

There is no entrance fee but a donation box. i believe there is a charge if you want to do the tower, i couldn't do it at the time due to a service being conducted.

We found it, very inviting, and everyone could sit where ever they wanted, they even supplied tea/coffee and biscuits. The pillars where not a problem.

Hi. I'm a keen amauter photographer, and love taking photos. Lots of them. I have found that when you are in the UK you can take photos of most places, but no flash photos. I took a lot of photos in the Cathedral.
