Had a great night at the weekend in the Furnace, friendly staff, fantastic beer and a really great music selection. They brew there own beer. Good selection of gin.

I'd never been to the Furnace before, and it was a huge surprise to find such a welcoming, friendly pub that belies its initial appearance and location. The beers are excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. What...More

Great selection of interesting drinks, and friendly bar staff that were happy to chat about them and offered tasters. Not much to look at from the outside but a great typical pub inside. Looking forward to working my way through a few more different pints...More

A nice local pub. Comfy seats and a darts board. Good selection of beers and some good guest ciders and perrys. Slightly hidden but worth a visit. Dog friendly.

When you think of a good English pub. This place springs to mind. Beer is priced well, staff are lovely. The raffle is a bonus also. Would definitely recommend!

The visit to this pub would have been great as they have a great selection of ales but was ruined by the below average live music which was part of their festival this particular weekend. May have to try this pub when they don't have...More
