Taken here by friends who live in the area. What a surprise. Lovely walks. Lakes. Accessible pathways through fields and forest areas. Great facilities - kids and teens playgrounds, zip line, parking (pay to park). Nicely kept - very little litter. Well worth a visit....More

Lydiard park is so peaceful and beautiful, coming here is always so charming. The house is gorgeous and the cafe is lovely. My nephew loves Lydiard so much.

Lovely country park. Fields, wooded area. Country house and church but check opening hours. Huge lake. Cafeteria. BBC can be hired but book in advance. Busy with walkers, runners and families in a sunny day out. Charge for parking.

Yes the park is free to enter but there is a car park charge of £2 for up to 2 hours or £4 all day. The admission prices for the house and garden can be found on the Lydiard Park website. Thanks
