We spent a lovely 3-4 hours visiting the Jackfield Tile Museum. After about 40 minutes looking at the whole host of impressive tiles on show in the museum (easy to spend so much more time here) we decided to head over to the tile painting...More

Found the museum more interesting than I expected, and the exhibits are well thought out. It would have been good to have more interactive exhibits, but perhaps visiting on a Sunday morning wasn't the best timing! Worth going in the week when the resident artists...More

An interesting museum with some beautiful examples of how people use to tile their homes/work places. Their are some old tiles/mosaics and the private collection of a life long collector. Nice to see but does not talk long to look around.

Set in a wonderful Victorian tile factory they have equipped offices and rooms in that period. There are many delightful tiles to illustrate the colours. Some of the tile work was so impressive. The museum does not seem to have much to hold the attention...More

If you're interested in the decorative arts, tile-making, or industrial history etc, then this museum is definitely worth a visit. It's really well presented, with lots of different galleries thoughtfully displayed in original factory buildings. It feels authoritative without being stuffy and there are some...More
