at one time Bolton museum had tonnes of history, Egyptians, mummies, dinosaurs etc etc, now you have an aquarium, stuffed animals and boring pictures, wont be visiting it again in a hurry

From books, to aquariums, to pottery and Egyptian mummy's, this place has it all, you can even get on line for an hour, with your libbery card, you can hire CDs and talking books etc as well, I've even seen people playing cards in here.

The aquarium is also well worth a visit. I also love the building itself. This museum and art gallery and aquarium is a great day for kids and can keep them entertained for hours. I can't wait to go back.

Sadly a visit to the aquarium was very disappointing with most of the tanks looking very tired. The council need to look at giving this area a big face lift to attract people in or reconsider the value of having this.
