Beautiful little country pub, lovely atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. Booked a birthday dinner for our friends, third visit and again, albeit a small menu, all very satisfied. All food nicely presented and tasty.

So 13 of us went for a friendly lunch and fancied a wee outdoor bite. 50 minutes after ordering the food arrived. Consensus was that Chicken was ok, Fish was borderline and the only way to describe the ribeye steak - a fu@&£)(g misteak!!
A good little restaurant on the edge of Basingstoke, nice beer garden and views of open fields, the choices of food was good and well presented on arrival. Will now say one for us when in the area again
Went to the Jolly farmer for the first time on a warm sunny evening, as I had heard that the Beer Garden was nice.

Evening out with friends, table reserved on arrival, good selection on menu and specials board including fish dishes, steak and vegetarian options spoilt for choice. All mains enjoyed and desserts tasty too. Service good, attentive but not overbearing. Great night, we'll be back. Thank you.
