We stayed two nights in the Maiden Tower. Lovely room, modern bathroom, quiet, friendly staff, picture perfect - pity about the catering. I am writing this review to help potential guests and the management at the castle to lift their game. I don't accept the...More

My daughter and I came here yesterday. It’s a wonderful place to visit and, if you see everything, a full day is advised. The castle itself is full of interest and, if you are slightly immobile like me, the people in charge put on a...More

Lovely place great value if you can revisit throughout the year. Not so cheap if one off. We loved it until we needed loos. Very dirty. Looked like floor hadn't been cleaned for months. Shame .

Interesting to have a look round and a nice play area for the kids. Bit expensive for entrance plus the train & boat ride are extra but we had a gardeners world 2 for 1 voucher which made it good value.
