I love walking around this beautiful lake and enjoying the flora, fauna, peace and quiet. The walk doesn't take long but is well worth the effort.

Cam here for a relaxing walk after the two of us had a stressful week, constant improvements have helped increase the pleasant experience of the reserve. It was nice just sitying watching the water fowl at the lake.

A well known beauty spot with the locals and great for dog walking. A little hidden gem. It does have lots of steps and steep hills so not too good if you aren't very mobile

Pleasant nature reserve to walk around, particularly with dogs. The reserve features winding pathways through the wooded areas, nature tips and advice on bulletin boards and a small lake at the heart of the reserve which provides a very scenic look. The peacefulness of the park is somewhat spoilt by the distant sound of the motorway nearby however this is... More

I love this place but not many people know how lovely it is their the volunteers do so much hard work, just a pity people with dogs don't pick up mess but not too bad lovely to see the lake and birds

A nature reserve in North East Maidstone. For wildlife a very important area in a part of town that is undergoing building development. For visitors and locals good for a quick walk and exercising the dog. The Vinters Valley Nature Reserve has wooded areas, small stream and a lake for wildlife. No toilets or play area and limited parking.

If you like nature and want a quiet, short stroll round a peaceful lake this place is ideal. The reserve is well cared for, there are plenty of bird boxes and the Lake brings all sorts of wildlife to the area. It's a great place to educate kids, but there are no play areas and they need to behave.

Full of wildlife, especially good for bats. Not well signposted and you probably wouldn't know it was there unless you're a local. Great to have a little walk and get out of the town.

There are no swings, slides or children's entertainment but this nature reserve is great for walking and enjoying the nature. If you enjoy walking, take the dog and take your time and enjoy the setting. Many of the trees are labelled and the wildlife is excellent, much of it attracted by the beautiful lake.

I have enjoyed vinters valley for the last 25 years. Its a brilliant place for a winters walk with your wellies, blackberry picking in the summer, feeding the ducks, walking the dogs, I could go on and on. I loved exploring this place as a child and still enjoy frequent trips here with my dogs and family. The place has... More
