Have visited this monument for years. Sometimes with the dogs. However would love to know its history as very little is known about it. Shame that it is wearing away. Don't go there in the dark or walk through alone. Have been handbags and bikes...More

This place is best avoided, its just a overgrown dogs toilet, should you visit there make sure you take some spare shoes, lucky for us we were in the area visiting elmdon park "much better" or it would have been a waste of time and petrol.

I have lived by it for nearly 50 years, there is no monument just an overgrown bank. It would only interest a historian.Do not travel far to see it unless you are studying.
