Without a doubt this is an amazing place to visit, a few minutes from major motorways and roads, so easy to reach. The displays are fantastic and the birds are cared for and well looked after. This is all very evident for the condition of the birds and how close they are with the keepers. The centre also has a... More

Sorry to say our experience was totally different to other reviews ! Went last year as a birthday treat - no where to sit for older members of the party so standing rather along time or sit on very narrow bars . We didn't find the staff very forecoming with information on the birds. - had to keep asking -... More

Visited this small Owl and Bird of Prey Sanctuary for a couple of hours today with my 3yr old son. Flying display was excellent with several Owls and Falcons some of which we were allowed to have landed on our glove protected hand. Amazing experience for my son and I.

Fantastic, interesting, interactive and great value for money. The Sunday flight show (1pm) was a wonderful experience for all our family. Everyone is invited to take part...kids had virtually unlimited chances to have one of the birds fly to them using the handling gloves. The looks of delight on the children's faces were priceless. The volunteers are very patient with... More

Children and adults all enjoyed the experience. Well worth the money. Staff flying birds of prey were knowledgeable and facinated the children with their stories about the various birds. The children particularly enjoyed being able to have the birds flying onto their arms.

Valuable work done by this team and they could charge more but I hope they get more people by keeping cost very reasonable. Educational entertaining display and great to see the birds being saved & cared for

I visited on Saturda with my father and partner. The experience was extremely enjoyable. The staff were good, joe and will took their time speaking to us about all of the birds of prey and owls on site. Personally not knowing a great deal about birds, it was an extremely, educational trio for me. They answered all questions and were... More

The centre is tucked away behind Duxbury’s garden centre. Signage should be improved as the route from the carpark wasn’t obvious. Once we finally found it though we spent about an hour looking at the birds. The place looked a bit shabby but, given it’s non-profit making and staffed by volunteers, it was acceptable. The staff were friendly and the... More

I visited today (Feb 2017) with my mum and son (aged 5) and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The staff and volunteers were friendly, knowledgable and passionate about the birds, and took time to share interesting facts & some funny anecdotes! The flying display was a fantastic treat and we all got to hold an owl and hawk which was... More

My 6 year old grandson loved his outing here - he was unenthusiastic when I suggested it but once there he was enthralled. Loved the owls and a picnic by the water but was bowled over by the flying display. He followed the volunteers around and they were very good with him, giving him lots of opportunity to get up...
