Really lovely experience in the spa. I had a brow and lash tint. I felt welcomed, there was a very relaxing, friendly atmosphere & great price too.

Took my son for the nerf wars experience promising lots of fun, lots of nerf guns to choose from play against a team see who’s the winner. Lots of Nerf guns not working, 2 teams got ready one wearing bibs and all the kids just ran around the hall shooting at each other for an hour! No catch the flag from your enemy, shoot your enemy to get them out, nothing! Hardly exciting. Much more could be done here to make it more appealing and so much more exciting.

This place is a fabulous hidden gem. It was so quiet, immaculately clean and well designed. I booked a spa day which included a dressing gown, slippers, the thermal journey (several soothing saunas and steam rooms) and afternoon tea. A lovely, relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

During my workout (overhead press), a coach that has been starting their class approached me from behind (really close) and shouted asking me to leave because the class was starting.

This wouldn't normally be a problem as I can understand classes have certain schedule and the Training Zone has a fairly loud music on so shouting may be necessary to get someone's attention.

However, the coach has done so whilst I was holding a fairly heavy weight above my head. Approaching from behind in such a manner and shouting startled me and I almost lost control of the weight.

Such behaviour is really dangerous and could have caused serious body harm if I dropped the weight on myself or the coach for that matter.

A much better approach would be to wait 5-10 seconds and get my attention once the weight was secure on the rack. It certainly wouldn't encroach into the class time and affect anyone negatively.

I would have thought this is basic common sense, especially in a gym setting and even more so from someone who works in a gym daily and must have had to go through basic health and safety training.

Please instruct your staff to respect safety of members and if needs be, ensure they are given proper H&S training as such behaviour is unacceptable.

My sons 5th birthday party, hosted by Megan who was absolutely brilliant with the children.

Kids enjoyed soft play, chicken nuggets, pizza, fish fingers and chips and had a chocolate ice for afters.

Easy party for parents as kids play, eat and then play again.

The children loved Megan and we are really grateful for her input.

We visited the Tranquil spa which is located in the leisure centre, what an amazing find, a real hidden gem, 3 different steam rooms and a sauna.
All the changing facilities, showers, changing cubicles, all communal area’s beautifully clean.
The girls that work there are lovely, cheerful greeting on our arrival, shown around told us all the information that we needed to know.
We had a spa treatment with an afternoon tea, we stayed for about 4hrs,lovely way to spend an afternoon. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The soft play area is ideal more when it quite but not when it busy we have a 17 month old that plays in the toddler area and all the big kids just keep come in and out of it make it dangerous for the little ones including are of course I understand it the parent job to be responsible for there kids but when it come round to health and safety the staff and management clearly don’t give a dam and don’t say anything it a joke they don’t do anything or say anything to the kids or parents over it wear the area sign posted or not for the little ones something need to be done about it
