Always wanted to visit Hidcote and a short stay in Stratford made it possible. Staff really friendly and helpful and went through the map with us. The gardens are amazing, I could easily have spent the day here! Bring a picnic or eat in the cafe..easy to walk around but could be problematic if you have mobility problems as many... More

Spent a lovely sunny afternoon here. One of the volunteers spent time telling us about the house and gardens history. The views were lovely too. Tea rooms and shop also

Have visited Hidcote several times now, and find something different to love every time. The gardens laid out as separate 'rooms' lead you intriguingly from one to the next, each seemingly effortless and informal, plants spilling into each other with abandon, many hidden wild spots and surprises around every hedge. Absolutely beautiful at every time of the year, tho Spring... More

Hi Cotswoldgourmet, it's always great to hear how much visitors love the gardens here; you're certainly not wrong about the fact that there is always something different to spot on every visit! We just wanted to clarify that while the Barn Café offers snacks, for anyone coming in to the gardens Winthrop's Café has a wider menu consisting of both... More

What a wonderful place to wander round; take your time and relax. These are really beautiful gardens that inspire and engage. Well worth a visit. I particularly found the long, well managed grass walkway up to the view across the fields quite beautiful.

The gardens here are a treat. Many different styles and types of garden and interesting vistas. We had a lovely afternoon tea, the staff were helpful and polite. The amenities were clean. There's a lovely kitchen garden and plants for sale as well as room for children to run around at play or even have a game of tennis. I... More

One of the best gardens in the Cotswolds with a lovely setting an lots of interest to the garden enthusiast. There are around 15 different small garden areas, each with a particular theme, providing interest at all times of year. Being National Trust it is a bit expensive if you are not a member. Café serves hot food - but... More

This was the perfect Spring day to visit Hidcote manor gardens . The tulips fantastic colours were at their best , magnolias in full bloom . The gardens were spectacular . Peacock roaming around the coffee shop . Perfect day , my only criticism is that there could be more seating around the gardens particularly in the open spaces .... More

Hidcote gardens are fabulous, yes expensive to get in but worth every penny to see the spring delights that dazzle you around every corner.
