Swearing swearing and more swearing! It's not needed in what is a great show. There were no warnings of the use of "fork" "twit" or Camp" etc being used in the show we took our 11yr old and 7 year old to. Lots of other kids in the audience too. Shame on the organisers. Hold it at The Embassy Club... More

We are ATG theatre members and love it but seriously the theatre need to think hard over their Costs. £21 on popcorn and 2 cokes and 1 bag of buttons yikes. If the ticket price wasn't a heart attack the nibbles would finish you off. We are doing Alice in Wonderland in April in the circle £245 for two kids... More

Billy Elliot the musical lived up to all expectations, probably the best stage show I've seen. The point of this review is the theatre itself. A long queue formed outside stretching right back down Oxford street caused by staff searching bags, nothing to do with security just paranoia regarding people bringing their own drinks in, and to be honest who... Went to see Billy Elliot last night at the Palace Theatre, Manchster. The show was fantastic, a brilliant arrangement of music, dance and comedy set amidst a very poignant era. It was an absolute credit to all involved in the production and very well hosted by the theatre. Our seats were in the Stalls, and although we were off to... More

We were in Manchester yesterday evening for a performance of 'Billy Elliot' at The Palace Theatre with two other couples. This was a lively, political, well acted, danced and sung production with excellent sound, lighting and special effects. The young people in the production were excellent but why oh why the bad language - EVEN SPOKEN BY THE YOUNGEST MEMBERS... More

We went to see Billy Elliot Last night and sat in the grand tier. My partner booked the tickets as a surprise, be mindful that the website is incorrect when saying which seats have restricted leg room. The middle of the Grand Teir isn't too bad as they moved us but at the sides it is quite bad. The steps... More

This is a beautiful old theatre, which should be supported, and going off the limited tickets available for the couple of shows I booked, it is obviously doing well. I agree with the other comments regarding the seating and drinks. It's not surprising that they have started searching ladies bags as, if you knew the price of drinks before you... More

We went to see Billy Elliot at the Saturday matinee. A fantastic show which has been much rewritten to the good since it first arrived in the West End. There is lots of strong language in it which is necessary to create the atmosphere of the situation. Our seats were in the Grand Tier and we noticed that those who... More
