Quite a surprise for me - a C18 church! Light airy and like a Wren church or is it more like some of the churches in Boston Mass

St Ann's church is an oasis of calm in the city centre, adjacent to St Ann's Square. Airy, light building with beautiful stained glass. We attended an unaccompanied choral concert and the acoustics were superb. Several disabled parking bays just outside in St Ann's Street - very useful to know.

It is well worth popping into this spacious and wonderfully light church. It has delicate stained glass and peace that allows one to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Built in 1712 this church has a simple elegance that is very pleasing. Its design and atmosphere almost suggest a non -conformist chapel of the 18th century. The brass plaques on the pews are an interesting reminder of past church members. It is a really lovely space for quiet contemplation

Ask the man in the collar anything about the church and history of the local area and he has a great passion. First visited this at a security event and it made a great venue and very friendly members of the church joined. Beautiful piece of Architecture in the heart of the City. Near to local shops and restaurants so... More

I have visited this church on 3 occasions, it is interesting, and the volunteers who work there are very informative regarding the history of the church. It is very peaceful and a lot to see and read..x

We have seen many churches, large and famous one, smaller ones with lots of character; in many countries across Europe. This is not the most impressive of all churches, not the oldest one, and not the most noteworthy one, not even very large, but I like it very much. It has something ..... something I have not identified yet, but... More

Its kinda hidden, surrounded by all the shops and their loud signage telling you about all the latest things and sales. this little church is a piece of calm in the consumer driven hell outside. pop in and have a little quiet.
