Lovely Chinese quarter in the city of Manchester close to Canal Street on the way towards the city centre. Some lovely restaurants and the centre for the large Chinese population of this great city.

Manchesters China Town has a lovely Chinese arch and oriental seating areas which are lovely. The streets are also worth a walk through to look at some of the shop fronts. It also smells great! :')

This area appeared very unclean. The food was average and expensive. We were very disappointed with this area of Manchester.

Lots of Chinese influences but superficially Chinese with Chinese restaurants, the gate, casinos and a couple of supermarkets buy there is no concentration of Chinese living in the area.

The craft shop does have a small selection of traditional Chinese dresses - it's situated directly opposite the pagoda and gardens.
