What makes the best nights out? Laughs that just won’t quit, great food, drink and racing entertainment with good friends; nights where you come home fizzing - from all the excitement of an evening spent in an atmosphere so electric it crackles. Nights that get talked about! Fancy one of those nights? Good: Because you’re in the right place. Manchester’s Greyhound Stadium is what you’d expect ... and a whole lot of what you wouldn’t. It’s a magic combination that conjures up one of the city’s biggest nights out. In fact, it’s quite probably, one of Manchester’s greatest nights out. Partying, celebrating, a night with friends, dining in the restaurant or entertaining in the suites – whatever night is your night - you’re going to love the dogs.

For a one-off night out with friends, a trip to the Greyhounds is OK. Once you've got past some scruffy unemployed tree-hugging protesters at the car park gates, it's a decent friendly place for an odd night out now and again. Food and drink is...More

Went on a Saturday and not much of an atmosphere. Was expecting a busier setting and there were a lot of kids there. I don't think it's really for me and the night didn't last very long.

My friends and I frequented this place for my boyfriend's birthday. We were given a leaflet about how bad the dogs are treated etc but we still went in. Once in there it was like a cattle market smell was awful so we went outdoors...More

Attended with a group last Friday. On the plus side, great atmosphere and exciting racing. Staff were excellent. Food was pretty good. On the minus side, service was very slow. Drinks are extortionate and the worst of all, the tables are crammed too close together....More

visited as a party of 8, both the food and service were very good, the staff were very attentive, your bets are taken at the table before each race.

Grab a table in the galleried restaurant. Don't expect gourmet dining but you get a great view of the racing, Tote girls at your table and a thoroughly good night out especially with a couple of winners. Woth an open minded visit.

Yes there is a lift (and as suggested already) a table at the top would be the best idea.
