I always go here with my own agenda of writing my diary or doing some work but the atmosphere is too good to ignore. Really nice to see people playing cards and talking about books without their phones out. Amazing cakes... Could do with just one or two more vegan ones.

Great atmosphere in this gem of a cafe, lots of space, free wifi to use inside, and a great selection of food! It all tastes home cooked and is very reasonably priced. This is truly something really unique in Manchester - without a doubt worth a visit. Lots of independent art projects and flyers for great groups and events around... More

This is a really nice quirky cafe. The miss match furniture adds to it's charm. It is not for profit cafe and serves as a place to go to at night if you're lost of drunk and stuck for a taxi home. Great drinks and cakes!

This cafe is an absolute gem. It's a not for profit cafe and arts venue. Hot vimto, good coffee and a huge selection of tea (they sell Teapigs tea). They have really great sandwiches. My personal favourite is "Emily". (At just £4.10 this is a bargain!) Not forgetting that the soup and sandwich deal is extremely good value for money.... More

Cheap and cheerful, could do with a bit more of a clean, but I am ultra fussy and this place is good enough. Would eat here again. Good for beans on toast on a cold morning. Quite an arty, studenty feel and so the atmosphere is always welcoming.
