Really good museum. Very interesting and helpful staff, mostly retired police officers. We stayed for a hour, but you could probably spend a little more time than we did. I would highly recommend this museum. Only open on Tuesdays.

Wow. Brilliant little museum. Shows the development of the Police in Greater Manchester. Forensic room, prison cells, uniforms and a court. Not only that the volunteers are exceptional with a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommended for all ages.

We had a friendly tour guide and the general atmosphere was amazing. The police gadgets on show all tell a story and the hidden dummy in the cell gave me a fright. Brilliant day! Even stopped at the gift shop to buy some goodies.
