Beautifully restored building containing room after room of historical collections. It is a bit of a maze, so if you get turned around, ask the friendly staff for direction.

Gives a great overview of the history and the culture of the region. The displays are informative and well done. An easy visit with children.

It is a very interesting museum showing the daily life in the old days in Alsace, with traditional clothing, furniture, traditions during holidays and special events, household, yards and house structure.
