Spread over several rooms and floors this museum gives you an all round view of life in Alsace through the ages. There are placards in each room, in several languages, to explain what is going on. Well worth visiting

We recently visited this museum after reading a review of it in a Rick Steves guidebook. The museum thoroughly explained life and customs of the people in the Alsace area.

A very rich and interesting collection in a fascinating environment. Mooving in this complex environment of the two (or three ? ) connected traditional houses is a really pleasant experience.

Dragged on a bit. Support for English-speaking visitors is suboptimal. Impressed that they had the foresight to start collecting items for the museum more than 100 years ago.
