Wandering around this genuine medieval center is a delight not to be missed. No special tips, just stroll and enjoy.

What a beautiful and quaint little village. We spent some time wandering the streets admiring the beautiful houses and enjoyed afternoon tea watching the world go by

Slightly distanced from the main centre of Strasbourg centre around the cathedral, this ancient district is just fabulous. If you're anywhere near Strasbourg then make the detour and enjoy the old town. Better still enjoy a coffee or a meal on one of the many terraces overlooking the Rhine or the narrow medieval streets.

On a recent business trip to the Alsace region of France and Germany, I reacquainted myself with the old city of Strasburg. This time around I was fortunate to join a group of colleagues and a professional guide. It is certainly worth the time to take a couple of hours with someone who knows the city and its history. The buildings and streets are unique for this area and shows the germanic history present in this part of France which changed nationality many times in the past 200 years.

La Petite France, on the western end of the Grand Île (Strasbourg town center) is a lovely place to visit by boat or on foot. This historic area is surrounded by water, the River Ill and various canals cutting through the middle of it. Seeing its many historic half-timbered homes reflected in the water is a lovely sight.
