It was not exactly easy to find from the map, but with persistence I found the entrance on the far side down from the cathedral square. Well laid out and easy to understand even though I did not speak French. There was enough English translations...More

Quite a lot to see. Audio guide gives all the details of Strasbourg's constantly changing identity and status, right up until WWII. Artefacts and paintings show the older history while photographs and films cover more recent times.. Very worth the visit.

The museum gives you a nice audio-guided tour through the compact history of Strasbourg. And what a history! Very interesting, for both those who know a lot of history from before, and for those who know very little. Recommended!

Interesting old building, interactive displays walk you through the historical background of Strasbourg and it's importance in the development of trade and ultimately Europe. A great place to spend some time.

The exhibition was beautifully done with many opportunities to try things out and to get extra information. Also, the audio guide was interactive and very informative.

It can sometimes be hard to tell where exactly you're supposed to be looking when the audioguide starts, but since I got in for free with my Carte Culture, it's really nothing to complain about. The exhibits are incredibly interesting and detail the city's history...More

We used the audio guide and spent 2 hours here ( could have spent twice as long to see it properly). Got a good overview of the city and its culture and history. The audio guides are quite clever, being activated automatically by where you...More

The history of Strasbourg was laid-out clearly in this museum; it is an audio-visual experience - one is equipped with a headphones and an audioguide that automatically senses where one is in the museum and plays the appropriate description. There is an option to press...More
