Strolled along the barrage from petit France in the early evening Kids loved it on the climbing frames at square Des moulins and the whole frontage looks lovely lit up

The panorama view from the barrage is simply beautifull, and they have a spotless public toillet as well. we visited in november and had the terrase deck for our own.

Great spot to sit and relax and take in views of Le Petit France. There are also some statues you can check out, but the views are phenomenal.

A great view of La Petite France from the Barrage. The terrace is open until 1600 to give an even better vantage.

Don't confuse this covered bridge with Pont Couvert. It has a rooftop terrace that is only opened during the day until 4pm which offers stunning views of Pont Couvert with its towers, canals, locks, La Petite France and the Cathedrale on one side and the contemporary town of Strasbourg on the other. Then after sunset, take a walk along Pont... More

How wonderful to have a historical defensive heritage not only turned into a 'bridge', but also a fantastic platform to have great photo of Le Petite France. The view from the top was truly spectacular. A must-visit if you are in Strasbourg!!!

We visited during the Christmas period. Although daylight is limited, we did get some good light over there. The barrage has a terrace that offers a panoramic view of the Ponts Couverts and Petite France. You should walk along the internal corridor too. There are some display of statues and gargoyles from the Cathedral.
