Guided tour illustrating various steps in the preparation of hundreds of hams being cured at various stages. Tour in French but experience worth the visit. Tasting offered. US citizens need to remember associated import restrictions of meat however before going hog wild,

It was an excellent spot to buy all kinds of meat. We were lucky to find this place and had an extensive range of meat purchase and surely had an excellent dinner at that night with a beautifiul wine along.

a very interesting guided tour in Franch run by the owner with nice jokes but also accurate facts about the elaboration on "basque" charcuterie; good free samples and interesting prices in the shop; we went to the restaurant next door, great experience! will come back

If you want truly first rate Bayonne ham, this is the place to go. Make no mistake about it, Bayonne ham still can't compare to culatello or bellota because it doesn't require the same curing period, but this is as close as you get to...More

Come learn about the process of producing the jambon de Bayonne from this little independent local producer. The guided tour, which runs daily (and is conducted in French), covers the basics of the craft in half an hour, and the tour finishes with a tasting...More
