Interesting street. Bustling full of shoppers, holidaymakers and cyclists. Plenty of shops ranging from low budget to independent and high end designers. Countless places to eat, drink and sit and watch the world go by. Explore the side streets and Place de Victoire to escape the crowds.

Plenty of variety between big chains and smaller independent stores. Plenty of places on side streets to get something to eat. Watch out for slippery stone surfaces in the rain!

Exploring Bordeaux has to start from here. This is amazing street. I recommend having a Wienese Chocolat at the hotel at the beginning of the street. We loved it and came every day.

This is the main shopping street with loads of retail stores. We noticed that rather a lot of them are shoe shops!

What a fabulous shopping pedestrian mall in the heart of Bordeaux centre ville. Only thing maring the feeling is a giant McDonalds Restaurant on the corner.

As all the reviewers say it is busy and you have so many places to but from, we have made several visits over the years and it never ceases to amaze us at the numnber of people in the street. Stand at the top (the Theatre end) and look back down, it's wall to wall people. Be warned though we... More
