We enjoyed the market very much. Lots of locals shopping and enjoying life. Shrimp, oysters, bread, and wine for brunch is perfect! River boat cruise ships tied up on the quasi, skateboard park, shopping - nice vibe!

I've visited this market several times on a Sunday morning and have always found it a delight. Oyster bars at each end, if you like oysters. (Flying home with cabin bags only? then do not buy tins of rillettes or pâté, they will be confiscated.)

OMG one of the best things in Bordeaux. It’s a joy to stroll through by all the stalls selling fish, meats, veg, fruit, cheese, soaps, pies, spices, cakes, breads .... pure joy. Some stalls also serve fresh oysters. Heaven.

Best way to spend the sunny sunday morning :) Enjoy your oysters and look for the artisanal cheese booth.

The Marche des Quais is a nice outdoor market along the river on Sunday mornings. We buy some produce and food for the week, but there are a lot of delicious vendors selling food perfect for a picnic lunch on the quay.
