Was in Bordeaux with 4 other friends for the Euro 2016 tournament. We booked a long (35km) vineyard wine tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience including the offroad sections in and around the vineyards of Bordeaux. Christaine was an excellent guide and extremely knowledgeable of the local vineyards. It was great to enjoy the tour and get some good exercise... More

We booked a tour with Bordeaux a Velo. The night before they sent us an email to confirm it. We did so. The next day nobody turned up at the meeting point. Nobody answered the phone numbers provided by the company. Nobody called us despite having our phone numbers. A total disappointment.

We were able to book this tour while we were on a Uniworld River Cruise of the area. Paola was out guide and was fantastic. There a very few hills and an easy ride. This is not pro-type circuit by any means. The views and the vineyard were amazing and Paola was extremely knowledgeable of all of the area and... More

I am so glad we decided to do this. We booked a bike tour with Christine and were well looked after. Her knowledge of the area if fantastic and made this a very interesting and fun tour. Her English is also fantastic. I loved exploring Bordeaux and only wished we had longer. We chose the Bordeaux and it's contrast tour... More

Bordeaux is in a very flat area so the bike is a great option to visit all around. There is a good system called V3 with stations all over the city and you can see the availability on real time with an application. You will be asked 200 euros deposit and the time of releasing the holds chan very depending... More

Had a wonderful time biking around Bordeaux. Beautiful city and there is no better way to see it than by bike. However be aware. The deposit you pay for the bike DOES NOT come back into your account for at least 3-4 days for French cards and can take 3 weeks for foreign cards (Like mine). Due to my low... More

We arrive and there is a little bit of Gallic dishing out of the bikes. I start to worry and think "what have we done', but after 20 minutes we miraculously do all have bikes that fit and off we go!!!! And boy, does the tour begin. Informative. Pitched perfectly. Bikes all work. No chains come off (more than I... More

Today was probably as close to a perfect "vacation" day as it is possible to have. Saint-Emilion is a picture postcard come to life. The weather was perfect, we rode bikes for hours through endless vineyards, we had a great guide, Christiane. She has the perfect personality for a tour guide, up-beat, knowledgable, and easy to get along with. We... More
