it is a nice (enough) big clock, but there is no big deal the picture used is adequate; David Bailey could probably jazz it up

the clock is charming but the streets around it and the "scene" are equally so. You can only get a sense of it from the street, not sure if you can climb into it.

It's a lovely looking clock tower off the main road. Sadly it was closed as I fancied a walk around it. Both faces of the building are worth looking at.

We did this as part of the UNESCO walking tour. Was great for the view on the approach but we were disappointed that we weren't able to explore inside. It appeared to be closed although there were no signs saying so.

Passed through this on my occasions whilst in Bordeaux for the Euro 2016 championships. Impressive and historic structure which leads from the river front into the inner city and all it offers especially the bars and restaurants.

Nice old building and clock. Good landmark with many cafes and restaurants very near. Walking down these streets to enjoy many historic sites in Bordeaux was so enjoyable and everything is within walking distance.

We were on a walking tour and specifically wanted to see this gate with a beautiful clock. We were lucky as there were not hordes of people at the gate and we got some great pictures. It is very historic and is an attraction that should not be missed when visiting Bordeaux.

Impressive old clock in one of the old city gates. Close to St Andrews Cathedral, City Hall and main shopping street of St Catherine's. Next to it there is a church worth a quick visit and plenty of cafes.

Enter into an old part of the city under its gate and be awed at the architecture, especially the golden clock! Does get a bit crowded but def worth your walking tour of the city to pass under!
