Wild and rugged coast line, the way it should be to get my attention. Bad weather, but not bad enough to make it even more interesting. Just a pity that the coastal road to Saint-Jean-de-Luz offers hardly any good views.

It is one of the many beaches for surfers in the French Basque Country but probably the most beautiful. The ocean is bringing its regular number of high waves and the view from the cliff above the beach is splendid. Take the opportunity to have...More

It is very nice to walk and look at sea and beaches below from the roadway / path. But at night with all the street and area lighting it looks surreal

For walking, for surfing... not too good for swiming but excelent for families. One handicap: swimers only can acced to the water in a narrow area, surfers are the "owners" of the rest...

You can walk along the coast of the Biarritz for about half mile or so, and everywhere is beautiful and dramatic. Amazing rock formations, surf, sunsets... beautiful.

The best view in Biarritz, in my opinion is from the top of the Cote des Basques. Amazing atmosphere:)

The truth is that the Basque Country Coast is amazing and really beautiful. I highly recommend this area to everyone who wants to eat fresh, drink fresh and see fresh views

This is the Birthplace of surfing in Biarritz, this beach benefits from an exceptional setting (surrounded by cliffs and a magnificient view of the Spanish coast and mountains). Bathing is suspending during the high tide (there is no more sand). Just outside of the Biarritz...More

Hello Drive towards the lighthouse and you will find lots of free parking along the street. From there you can walk along the coast towards Biarritz. Don’t walk along the beach from the lighthouse if the tide is in as you... More
