It's well worth a visit, we actually went to Bergerac that day to go to the very excellent market (a must!), but while we were there it seemed a waste to not pop into the church for a look, and it is well worth it....More

This cathedral was built in the 19th century by a quite good architect, nevertheless all buildings in Neo styles always look a bit fake. It has harmonious lines and the mention to the many supports/donations appear everywhere showing that the cathedral was built based in...More

Relatively new in comparison to many churches, this one was completed in 1878, it is very nice and a pleasant place to visit and relax.

Very large, beautiful church - if it's open (like a lot of places in Bergerac, it closes at lunchtime), it's worth a walk round.

A very impressive building, shame that the back of the church was half cover by scaffolding, not to mention being surrounded by the market.

The Eglise Notre-Dame is definitely with stepping into from the ancient section of Bergerac, peaceful inside with interesting sculpture of saints including Joan of Arc, with beautiful stained glass windows. Take a look inside - it's worth it.
