Great way to spend a relaxing hour late afternoon after travelling. We arrived at Bergerac airport 3pm, got to our accommodation at 4pm then took the 5pm gabarre. The 4pm boat was full but our boat was a lot emptier so space to move around....More

Great, relaxing trip along the river. We saw Herons, King Fishers and learnt some great things about Bergerac. The guy speaking had a great sense of humour (brexit and footy jokes) and spoke good English. A very pleasant trip!

It is a lovely river and liively City but save your money on the boat trip - I love rivers and found this 1hr 30 min trip dead boring... Hire a canoe instead!!

This 50 minute voyage in a replica traditional flat bottom Dordoyne vessel was very worth while. The French host made a great attempt at explaining the sights in English as well as French and we got to see views that can only be gained from...More

A very good guide in english accompanied us. We chartered the whole boat for a 2 hour trip out of Bergerac. It was just a pity the weather was variable but they did offer blankets when the wind blew. Thoroughly recommended.

Despite a notice on ticket office to say last departure 17:15 and at least 6 people turning up for trip we were advised not going as insufficient numbers. Sadly we had just killed an hour to take this trip.

By being here gives you a glimpse of the time when this was an important spot in maritime . The trades which took place here and the merchendises which made Betgerac prosperous town . The whole area is worth taking a small walk

Don’t know Colin. Didn’t see any dogs when we were there.
