The most enchanting ruelles and chemins winding around the medieval quarter of Périgueux. So many beautiful photo opportunities at every turn and so much history to discover! Magnificent carved stone doorways arches and million windows. Quaint hidden courtyards and shady squares. Highly recommend 😄

Wandering around the medieval streets is a delight but beware the shops are expensive. The cathedral is the place to visit and is well worth a visit.

Perigueux is a pleasant French city in the Dordogne region. There are nice shops and excellent restaurants. The cathedral is enormous and very impressive.

This is one of my favourite towns for this area. We were so lucky that our visit coinsided with a veteran vehicle and themed week. What a delight, certainly deserved the return visit we made.

This small, operated by donations only, museum was a great find. Most of the verbiage is in French, but the museum has an English pamphlet to help guide you. It is on 3 floors, I don't think there is an elevator, but there are a...More
