Following the refurbishment of the market, you cannot really call it a Farmer's market any more! All the stalls inside Les Halles are permanent and have great fresh local produce. For fish lovers, there are four or five fish stands where they have a wide...More

Visited twice on a recent trip to Basque country and really enjoyed not only the fine selection of food, but the lovely atmosphere and friendly people at the market and surrounding neighborhood. Market is open Tues/Fri/Sat mornings and well worth a leisurely visit.

Thank you for your comment. In reality, the market is opened every morning. Tuesday and friday more producers and sellers come around the market.

Lovely place to visit for breakfast and to pick up some local produce. There are two very good cafes inside which we visited for breakfast. Very reasonable and very friendly. Lovely to just sit with a coffee and watch the market and shoppers.
