Lots of character to this area and lots of hidden laneways to discover. Some areas were a bit steep for some travellers but you can still explore area less hilly. Full of restaurants and tourist shops but many interesting buildings.

We spent a couple of hours in the town and it really is unique. It is well worth a visit to wander around the timber-framed streets and soak up the atmosphere

Chateau waste of entry fee. Gardens used to be fabulous until converted into car park and children's playground. Eat 12.00 then Walk ramparts as far as possible direction Port, then path to Port de Dinan for a galette. Walk back up cobbled street to town....More

A great way to spend a few hours is to look around this lovely medieval town. As well as the architecture there is no shortage of good coffee shops and restaurants

The old town is open all year long: weather may be cloudy and cold. I suggest you to contact Dinan tourism office. I wish you a good holiday.
