We went on a boat trip along the Odet from Quimper. That's about it really. From the other reviews, we'd probably have been better have a nice casual walk along the river, which was pretty enough. Quimper itself is well with a visit, a lovely...More

We stopped in Quimper as we were travelling South through Brittany. It is a pleasant city with a relatively small centre. It's most attractive feature are the very pretty rivers of which there are three, including the River Odet. Other than that we were a...More

We walked some of the river - really pleasant and worth doing. If you end at Quimper then get an ice cream or crepe - you know you deserve it!

In July the walk alongside the river from the station to the town is a tremendous surprise. The collection of a dozen or so decorated bridges along with gardens on either bank are something special.

The riverfront in Quimper is a beautiful and clean one. Generally on some river fronts there is slight stench of dirty or stagnant unclean water, however Quimper has it absolutely right. The water is clean and all the side walks and flower beds are immaculately...More

Verdantly decorated. Fish can be seen at low tide (this is an estuary). Wends through town. Nice stroll, even in the rain
