A visit to Quimper is not complete without buying some Quimper faience, enjoying a savory Breton crepe, or visiting the historic Cathedral St. Corentain! Aside from their beauty, the twin-spires are a boon to navigating the old town of Quimper. Seen from almost every old...More

The first place to visit in this beautiful town, especially if the sun is shining, so you can appreciate the breathtaking stained glass. Not particularly historic but a very fine building with two ornate spires.

The Cathedrale Saint-Corentin has beautiful stained glass windows, a wonderful Gothic exterior, and a unique bent layout of the church floor plan.

We always enjoy an all too rare trip to Quimper when in Brittany. The cathedral is a gem and well worth the visit. Beautiful and very evocative of Christianity and devoutness of this part of France where religion seems to be a more important part...More

The must see site in Quimper. Take your time and take in the peace and quiet of the place. Also note how the cathedral 'bends' to the left from the main nave to the back choir of the cathedral.

This a cathedral which combines the majesty if the building with the history and Christian witness of Brittany. The history time line display was especially interesting In the 100th year since the end if WW1 the monument in remembrance is particularly moving.

A very nice imposing church sat on a nice square in Quimper. Only had a quick look inside but that was nice too.

This cathedral sits in the very centre of town and so is easy to access. It is worth a look as it has some very beautiful stained glass and impressive reliquaries (whose skull fragment is that?) Quite grand.

The Cathedral dominates the center city main square. Nearly 1600 years old, it has been rebuilt a few times after some damage. Nice to visit. We attended mass with the Bishop on Sunday and enjoyed the service

The town of Quimper is very nice and I would highly recommend time here. The cathedral is Gothic with an elaborate external facade. The inside is stunning with a very high arch ceiling. There is a timeline of Christianity which is very interesting.
