I personally called the Museum when I was planning my trip to Quimper back in July of 2016 to make sure they would be open in October/November. That wasn't the case when I got there. I was really disappointed as I had built this stop...More

This museum is next door to the one remaining manufacturer of Quimper pottery with its charming motifs. The museum is well laid out and has a vast range of pieces.

Definite must see. The presentation of Quimper pottery over the years is great, and the displays of the works of particular artists is especially interesting. Missing this would be a shame if you understand the significance of faience to this region.

The museum is well laid out, informative and has some lovely examples of Faience - particularly as practised between about 1880 and 1940. Well worth a visit - the new buildings on the site of the original works are beautifully finished and laid out.

We loved this museum - It covered the history and development of the history of pottery in the region. Well curated and displayed exhibits. We we taken aback by a plate which had one of the most racist, s exist and colonialist illustrations we have...More
